The situation
For quotes and claims, you need policies, health questionnaires, damage photos and expert reports, and in financial advice also proof of income and securities account statements. Health information belongs to the special categories under Art. 9 GDPR. Clients often send such documents as a photo through a messenger or as an unprotected email attachment. This spreads sensitive data across devices and mailboxes, and follow-up questions drag the case out.

The recipient confirms their address with a code before the download. A forwarded link is then not enough to download.

If a client does not download documents, Fairsend reminds them once automatically. You get a notice before expiry.

Working as a team
If several advisers work together, use the Team plan with roles and a shared address book. Owners and admins see all team transfers and can set rules such as password protection for everyone. Your logo then appears on the download page.

Frequently asked questions
Do clients have to install anything?
No. Uploading and downloading work in the browser, also on a smartphone. No account is needed for it.
How do I handle health information?
This data belongs to the special categories under Art. 9 GDPR. Use password protection and a short expiry period. Which rules apply to your business, clarify with your data protection officer or your adviser.
Can I connect Fairsend to my broker management software?
There is no ready-made connection. From Team, a REST API is available, and the Outlook add-in inserts download links directly into your email.
How long do documents stay available?
Until the period ends, which you set within the limits of your plan. After that, they are deleted automatically. Documents you are required to keep, take over into your own systems.
What can the Free plan do?
You can use upload links with a free account. Transfers go to one recipient and are available for one complete download. Password protection is available from Premium.
