For bookkeeping and tax returns, you need receipts, bank statements, payroll documents and notices from your clients. By email they mostly arrive unencrypted and spread over many individual messages. Reports and annual accounts contain business figures and are subject to professional confidentiality. If documents stay in mailboxes or a download is missing, chasing costs time.

Additionally protect the upload link with a password. Transfers to clients can also be secured with a password.
Proof of Delivery
For documents you send to clients, you see when they were completely downloaded.
Reminders from Premium
If a client has not downloaded the files after a few days, they receive one reminder. You yourself get a notice before expiry. This can be turned off when sending.
Servers in Germany
Data is stored on servers in Germany. Your files are stored there encrypted.

Working as a team
On the Team plan, the firm works with shared team transfers and a shared address book for clients. Owners and admins see all team transfers. With the upload widget, you accept documents directly on your website.

Frequently asked questions
Do my clients need an account?
No. No account is needed to upload through an upload link or to download a transfer.
Can a client upload several times through the same upload link?
No. Each upload link works once, though several files can be uploaded at once. For further receipts, create a new link. Anyone who wants to accept documents continuously uses the upload widget on their own website from Team.
Is Fairsend a receipt store or an archive?
No. Fairsend is a transfer service, not an archive. When the period ends, the files are deleted automatically. Documents you are required to keep, take over into your own systems.
Is there a connection to practice software?
Fairsend does not offer a ready-made connection to practice management software. From Team, there is a REST API through which you can connect your own workflows.
Is the Free plan enough to get started?
You can create upload links on the Free plan too, with an account. Transfers go to one recipient there and are available for one complete download, after which the files are deleted. Password protection and reminders are available from Premium.
What happens if a client interrupts the download?
If the download is interrupted, it can be resumed. On the Free plan too, only a complete download counts.
